Last month MSC Mission Office Australia launched the Bushfire Recovery Appeal to assist individuals and families affected by bushfires in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. The appeal has raised $12,176 for affected families, thanks to the generous assistance from MSC members and supporters here in Australia and around the world.

MSC Pacific Union donated $2000 towards the recovery efforts. Father Tamati Sefo, Superior for MSC Pacific Union, shared that "Our prayers and solidarity are with them at this difficult time".

We are grateful for the support of the Pacific Union and all those who have donated to this appeal. We will be visiting Chevalier College in Bowral to discuss how your donations can best assist families affected by this bushfire season.
